By: Asmi Mahajan
If you're applying for a fully funded CS master’s program, here are some tips:
Apply for Assistantships: Most funding comes from research (RA) and teaching assistantships (TA). Contact faculty members early to express your interest in research positions.
Check fellowship opportunities: Many universities offer internal fellowships that fully fund students.
Apply to multiple universities: Some programs are more competitive than others, so increasing your options can improve your chances of receiving funding.
Write a strong Statement of Purpose (SOP): Highlight your research interests, career goals, and why you’re a strong candidate for funding.
Network with faculty and students: Connecting with professors whose research aligns with your interests can increase your chances of securing funding.
Getting a fully funded master's in Computer Science is possible if you apply strategically and explore assistantships and fellowships.
